Hello and thanks for taking the time to check out my site and my music:) I am a songwriter/performer/teacher/recording artist, living in Silver Spring, MD. My musical styles include Rock, Blues, Metal, Adult Contemporary, Instrumental and Ballads. A variety of musical influences have shaped my writing and playing, including: Bryan Adams, Journey, Rush, Green Day, Joe Satriani, Elton John and Jim Brickman. I play drums, piano, guitar, and sing on my songs. I also own Lightpoint Recording Studio in Maryland, where I write and record both my tunes and other bands as well. My current musical goals are to write, record and publish commercially viable music for a variety of settings including movies, television, radio, commercials, jingles, and celebrity performances. I am currently working to interface with industry professionals who can assist me in gaining public exposure and interest in the use of my music. I welcome any thoughts or feedback regarding my music. Much of what I'm doing is self-taught, so that has made the self-discovery part of my musical journey such a wonderful and rewarding experience. I have met so many awesome musicians and fans from around the world, so thanks to all of your for your encouraging words and for supporting my music!.. :)

My first tune in almost eight months! Two weeks ago I returned to songwriting and recording, after experiencing rather poor health for the last few months of 2012. I was very lethargic, had little appetite, and could barely keep any food inside me. As it turned out, my gallbladder was shutting down on me. In early January of this year, I experienced a horrific gallbladder attack, and had to go to the emergency room one night at midnight. Twelve hours later my gallbladder was removed. It's taken a couple months of recovery for my abdominal muscles and diaphragm to stenghthen enough so that I could begin singing again. Even sitting up at the piano was painful for several weeks. I'm blessed to have made a full recovery - and so thankful to the doctor that saved my life, the hospital medical staff, and to my family and friends for nursing me back to health, and seeing me through a very difficult time! I'm excited to be back to my music! I hope you enjoy the new tune..."You're Gone".
